Daniel Tyson is Director of Infrastructure Policy Advancement, AI at Bentley Systems, where he leads cross-team integration of AI knowledge and strategy. His work focuses on aligning Bentley’s innovations with emerging regulatory frameworks and market needs, advancing the responsible use of AI in the infrastructure sector.
Since joining Bentley, Dan has established foundational programs that strengthen trust and compliance across the company’s cloud services. As Director of the Account Trust Program, he created Bentley’s first comprehensive process for addressing customer concerns around data protection, information security, and compliance. He later launched and managed Bentley’s FedRAMP Program, guiding efforts toward U.S. federal and Department of Defense cloud authorizations.
Earlier in his career, Dan held leadership roles in political campaigns, consumer products, publishing, and language services, directing teams in contact centers, quality assurance, and vendor procurement. This diverse background equips him with deep expertise in process improvement, project management, and customer engagement.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from Wheaton College. He is passionate about advancing responsible technology practices that foster trust and deliver long-term value to infrastructure stakeholders.
