Bentley Systems, the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Australian British Chamber of Commerce, the Smart Cities Council, Business Western Sydney and the UK Government are proud to bring the Transforming Infrastructure Performance (TIP) Summit to Melbourne in 2025.
Following landmark Summits in London, Singapore, and Toronto, the Melbourne edition will convene Australia’s leading infrastructure policymakers, asset owners, digital innovators, financiers, engineers, and delivery partners to confront the most urgent questions facing the sector today.
As Australia’s infrastructure ambitions collide with workforce constraints, shifting funding models, and escalating climate risks, TIP MEL will explore how we design, fund, govern, and deliver infrastructure fit for a volatile future.
With sessions spanning labour and skills, digital delivery tools, systems thinking, climate resilience, and the policy settings required to sustain long-term investment, TIP MEL provides a rare opportunity to engage across silos and shape the next decade of infrastructure performance.
From the impact of states on policy leadership to the emerging role of AI in project delivery, TIP MEL will be where leaders can collaborate to turn vision into action.

WHY TIP MATTERS
The Transforming Infrastructure Performance (TIP) Summit convenes senior executives, policymakers, engineers, asset owners, and industry leaders for frank, solutions-focused conversations on the future of infrastructure delivery.
In Melbourne, the focus will shift from ambition to implementation—examining how Australia can meet its infrastructure, climate, and economic goals amid shifting policy, limited workforce capacity, and rising delivery expectations.
Sessions will explore challenges and opportunities across:
- Workforce and skills development
- Funding and financing models
- Digital delivery tools, including AI, BIM, and digital twins
- Systems thinking and resilience
- Policy settings that support long-term value
TIP is a working summit, designed to bridge policy and practice, break down siloes, and connect public and private sector leaders across the entire infrastructure lifecycle.
The strength of TIP lies in its scale. Large enough to host a full-day program featuring national and international thought leaders, yet intentionally small enough to foster genuine conversation, connection, and collaboration among all participants.
If you’re shaping the future of infrastructure in Australia, this is the room to be in.
