TWIN TALKS COLOGNE

ABOUT THE EVENT

Infrastructure Policy Advancement, Bentley Systems’ thought leadership initiative, in partnership with, buildingSMART Germany is thrilled to bring the global Twin Talks series to DigitalBAU in Cologne.

Twin Talks are discussions that bring together leaders in geospatial, infrastructure and construction to explore the best global practices and their local applications. These discussions provide a unique opportunity to share insights from both successes and setbacks while showcasing regional infrastructure and construction leadership on stage.

Following events in London, Toronto, New York City, Rome, Warsaw, Frankfurt, and Berlin, Twin Talks Cologne will gather industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss innovative approaches to planning, approval, and delivery of major infrastructure and construction projects in Germany. The new special funds for infrastructure and climate neutrality (SVIK; Sondervermögen für Infrastruktur und Klimaneutralität) provide financial flexibility, regulations or laws like the construction acceleration initiative (“Bauturbo”) or Infrastructure Future Act (InfZuG; InfrastrkturZukunftsgesetz) reduce complexity and bureaucracy, leveraging these general conditions, our Twin Talks panel will discuss how technology and methodology like digital twins and BIM are beneficial or even mandatory for quick, efficient, and sustainable investment and project delivery
