Twin Talks Montreal: From Vision to Velocity: Planning Canada’s High-Speed Rail Future
De la vision à la Vitesse : l’avenir du train à grande vitesse au Canada
Bentley Systems in partnership with the Conseil des Infrastructures and Accenture, is pleased to bring the global Twin Talks series to Montréal.
Twin Talks explore global best practices in infrastructure to apply to local challenges. These events offer a platform to learn from successes and setbacks, while also sharing local innovations with a global audience.
Following events in London, Melbourne and Toronto, Twin Talks Montréal will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss forward-thinking approaches to infrastructure in Montreal and beyond.
Canada is embarking on its most ambitious and transformative infrastructure project in over a century, the Alto High-Speed train, which will connect Quebec City to Toronto. This groundbreaking rail link promises to bring communities closer, boost productivity, and expand Canada’s workforce, contributing up to 1.1% annually to Canada’s GDP. Currently in its planning and design stages, the Alto project aims to integrate cutting-edge technologies and advanced digital infrastructure.
This fireside chat will explore the role of innovation in shaping the project’s development, with a focus on the incorporation of digital tools, sustainable practices, and intelligent design.
Attendees will be invited to share insights on the challenges and opportunities in the planning and design phase of the country’s most transformative infrastructure project in a generation.
