Amelia Burnett is the Digital Financial Strategies Director at Bentley Systems, where she leads global research and thought leadership on infrastructure funding, finance and insurance for the Infrastructure Policy Advancement (IPA) initiative. Based in Aotearoa New Zealand, she collaborates with public and private-sector partners, industry associations and academia to explore how technology and data-driven leadership can support better infrastructure investment decisions.
With over a decade driving infrastructure and construction transformation, Amelia champions sustainable, resilient and inclusive infrastructure, grounded in systems thinking. Previously Associate Director – InfraTech at the G20’s Global Infrastructure Hub, she developed G20 reports on InfraTech, sustainable finance and infrastructure taxonomies. Earlier, she held leadership roles in the UK’s National Digital Twin programme, Construction Innovation Hub and Centre for Digital Built Britain at the University of Cambridge.
Amelia holds certifications in Inclusive Infrastructure and Public-Private Partnerships, a Bachelor of Arts (University of Auckland) and a Master of Sustainable Business (University of Otago).
