Twin Talks London: Unlocking Capital and Technology for Southeast Asia’s Energy Transition
London Climate Action Week ‘26
OVERVIEW
Institutional capital is uniquely positioned to play a catalytic role in Southeast Asia’s energy transition. Both the UK and Australia sit at the intersection of global capital markets and Southeast Asia’s growing energy demand, bringing distinct institutional investment models, policy frameworks, and public-private financing vehicles to the region.
Against this backdrop, Bentley Systems and Lucetia Group are pleased to convene a Twin Talks roundtable during London Climate Action Week 2026, in partnership with the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) and the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC). Bentley’s global Twin Talks series canvasses global best practices to address pressing infrastructure challenges. They provide a forum for candid exchange on successes, setbacks and transferable lessons across sectors and borders.
As a focal point for global capital markets and climate‑aligned investment decision‑making, London Climate Action Week provides a natural setting for UK and Australian institutional investors and their international peers to exchange perspectives on Southeast Asia’s renewable energy infrastructure pipeline, and explore the role of digital transformation and data-driven leadership are enabling more confident capital deployment.
These events represent the second convening in the Financing the Energy Transition in Southeast Asia series, building on the Twin Talks discussion Bentley Systems and Lucetia Group hosted at the Australian Pavilion at COP30 in Belém. While the COP30 session set the strategic context, the London Climate Action Week roundtable is designed as a practitioner and investor-led forum for participants to share on‑the‑ground experience from across the region, learn from successes and setbacks, and explore practical ways to mobilise capital for the energy transition. The series will continue later in 2026 with a regional convening in Singapore, bringing these investor-validated insights directly to Southeast Asia’s policy and finance community.
