TWIN TALKS MUNICH INTERGEO 2026 –
Panel Discussion with DDGI at INTERGEO

EVENT OVERVIEW / INTRODUCTION

Infrastructure Policy Advancement, Bentley Systems’ thought leadership initiative, in partnership with Deutscher Dachverband für Geoinformation and urban digital, is thrilled to bring the global Twin Talks series to Munich.

TWIN TALKS are discussions that bring together leaders in geospatial and infrastructure to explore global best practices and their local applications. These discussions provide a unique opportunity to share insights from both successes and setbacks while showcasing regional infrastructure leadership on a global stage.

Following events in London, Frankfurt, Berlin and Cologne, TWIN TALKS MUNICH IFAT, the second TWIN TALKS in Munich at INTERGEO, will gather industry leaders, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss innovative approaches on how to monitor infrastructure assets and minimize risks.

EVENT DETAILS

WHY THIS MATTERS

This session will provide insights into how adding real-time data to digital twins enables you to identify and minimize risks. Global, regional and asset-related risks are constantly increasing in complexity and dynamics. Geoinformation technologies and digital twins play a crucial role in detecting and analyzing these developments at an early stage and deriving appropriate risk mitigation measures. Experts and decision-makers will discuss concepts for the continuous collection and evaluation of real-time data to realize the transition from reactive to predictive event handling. With their practical experience, the panellists cover various assets, systems and processes and consider the influence of new technologies in the areas of data transmission, storage or automated processing. Topics include:

  • Sensor and satellite data collection
  • Data-driven operation optimization
  • Monitoring and modelling risks
  • AI-assisted real-time data management

The TWIN TALKS panel discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer round.

Afterwards, you are invited to a convivial networking reception by our cooperation partner Deutscher Dachverband für Geoinformation DDGI and the Bentley team.
